That was one of the first "adult" poems to...Thanks. That was one of the first "adult" poems to really make an impact on me. It's something about the way that Eliot finds the life affirming positives in bleakness and tragedy, and manages to add a large dose of realism to the mythical or fantastic and still keep the mystery and romance of it.
